Toros Agri supports the terminal services it offers at Ceyhan and Samsun port facilities with various port services towards meeting needs of ships, with 24 hours continuous working principle and modern equipment, in line with international standards.

Toros Agri, through its subsidiary Toros Gemi Acenteliği ve Ticaret A. Ş., offers agency service to ships using Ceyhan and Samsun Terminals. The mentioned company provides agency service for all of Toros Agri’s ships transporting raw materials, product fertilizer and grains for its own production and commercial activities. The ships transporting third party cargo, may also receive agency services through Toros Gemi Acenteliği ve Ticaret A. Ş. on voluntary basis.

Agency services are carried out via secondary agencies resident at İskenderun, Mersin and Samsun under the supervision of central office at Istanbul. While this service used to be offered by Toros Agri previously only at Ceyhan Terminal, it has been extended to include Samsun Terminal following permit from Undersecretariat of Maritime in 2006.

At Toros Ceyhan and Samsun Terminals, outside refueling, entire services that ships shall require during docking and within the period they remain berthed, are offered to clients.

COAL WAREHOUSE

Toros Ceyhan Terminal accommodates:

• In the facility area 1 11,550 m² open a type warehouse status coalfield,
• In the facility area 1 16,100 m² open a type warehouse status coalfield,

Toros Samsun Terminal accommodates:

GRAIN WAREHOUSE

Toros Ceyhan Terminal accommodates:

• In A type warehouse status 2 20,000 tons and 2 10,000 tons, total storage capacity 60,000 tons, horizontal grain warehouses,
• Ship discharge facility from pier to horizontal grain warehouses via closed system conveyor belts.

FUEL WAREHOUSE

Toros Ceyhan Terminal accommodates:

• Floating and fixed roof 30, from 1,000 m³ to 20,000 m³ at different capacities, fully in A type warehouse status, total of 225, 015 m³ fuel tanks,
• Tanker loading and discharge perrons.

All kinds of project cargo may be handled; per piece up to 120 tons with our pier cranes, and with ship cranes up to 600 tons. Additionally, location is allocated in port area for assembly/ disassembly processes.

Loading and discharge service for big bag or pallet products suitable for general cargo shipping, is provided at our docks. Loading and discharge of all kinds of cargo in general cargo status are performed in accordance with cargo handling standards, damage-free, in good quality and in line with fully capacity standards.

At our Ceyhan and Samsun Terminals, under bulk dry cargo and general cargo terminal operations, unloading, loading and storage services are successfully carried out for many products of various natures, from grain and feed materials to fertilizer, coal to petro coke, clinker to cement, various industrial ores and minerals to all kinds of mining products, bagged products to various project cargo, from iron-steel products to general cargos.

At Ceyhan, discharges are performed from both pier platforms to 60,000-ton capacity grain warehouses via the closed 4-line conveyor system. The bagging units of approximately 40,000 tons daily capacity also meet all kinds of bagging needs of users.

At Samsun Terminal, discharges are performed from Pier-1 to horizontal and closed warehouses of roughly 250,000-ton total capacity via fully closed conveyor system.

Toros Ceyhan Terminal has the facilities to provide unloading, loading and storage service for bulk liquid cargo, from fuel and oil products to numerous liquid product groups including vegetable oil and various liquid substances. All the tanks at the facility have been positioned to facilitate storage and loading of bulk liquid products that shall arrive via sea or land. It is also possible to perform blending among tanks apart from transfer services.

Toros Samsun Terminal accommodates in total 20 storage tanks of 97,368 m³ volume to meet liquid chemical raw material need; 32 ammonia tanks of approximately 40,000 m³ volume, 8 phosphoric acais tanks of 24,756 m³ volume and 9 sulphuric acid tanks of 32,612 m³ volume. All tanks are connected to pier-2 with pipelines.
