In order to respond to the growing demand for grains from the feed producing sector, Toros Agri began to trade in grain in 1995.

In the last 10 years of the 20th century, Turkey has increased employment opportunities through new developments and investments in almost every sector. In this time period, white meat and egg production have shown a great acceleration and capacity has been increased by newly established companies. One of the important feed grain of the broiler sector are soy, corn and feed crops, wheat.

Aside from the feed, Turkey is in the position of importing the other essential crops such as corn and soy from outside of the country. Although there have been major strides to increase local production of these products in recent years, Turkey is still far from being able to meet the demands.

The fact that Toros has its own ports and warehouses in its region enabling grain commerce easier. Because of its location in the eastern Mediterranean, the company has targeted small and middle-sized companies in the Central Anatolian, Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolian regions as a potential customers. Since 1995, Toros Agri has been in the position of providing grain and feed grain for companies in her targeted region.
