Tekfen Agri-Industry Group, in time, diversified its activities that started with production of chemical fertilizers in 1981 and extended its area of activity by forming a complete service and product chain. Today, our group has become an integrated group of companies and is sustaining its activities by means of five subsidiary companies and one joint venture.

 

 

 

It was founded in 1974 with the purpose of producing chemical fertilizers. Starting production in its first plant in Ceyhan in 1981, the company did not limit its potential and extended its production capacity by purchasing Akdeniz Gübre in 1990 and Türkiye Gübre Sanayi A.Ş in 2005 and has been a leading fertilizer producer with the largest production capacity in Turkey. Apart from the production and distribution of chemical fertilizers, Toros Tarım renders its services in the fields of seed and seedling production, grain and animal feed raw material trade, plastic bag production, power generation and gas station activities.

 

Founded as an extension of Ceyhan chemical fertilizer plant in 1981 for the purpose of supplying raw material, thanks to its excess capacity, Toros Terminal started offering its services to third parties. Therefore, Toros Terminal & Maritime Co., Inc was founded in 1986. Being founded with the purpose of running the terminal, handling various product groups as well as offering terminal and storage services, the company has been one of the most important players of the sector after the expansion of Toros Terminal in 1990 and incorporating Samsun Terminal into the company in 2006.

 

 

Toros Ship Agency Services Co., Inc., founded in 2005, renders ship agency services to vessels carrying cargo to Toros Tarım or third parties via Toros Terminal and gives waste removal and pilotage services. Not limiting itself with only these services, the company also carries out the supervision and coordination of the pilotage and tugboat services in both its own terminal and in jetties and terminals in the vicinity.

 

 

Being in operation since 1998, TAYSEB (Toros Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone) is the founder and operator of Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone founded on a 4.5 million m² area, next to the Toros Terminal. TAYSEB is the one and only free zone that has been designed for the heavy industry, thanks to its strategic location near the major southern cities of Turkey, and for being easily accessible by air, land, rail and sea.

 

 

 

H-T Seedling, which was established as a joint venture between Hishtil, an Israel originated company and Toros Tarım in 1995, realizes the production of grafted and high quality seedlings, required in the agricultural sector. 120 million ordinary and 15 million grafted seedlings are being produced annually in Antalya production facilities of the company that sustains its activities all around Turkey with its network of 250 authorized dealers.
