The Tekfen Agri Industry Group is one of the four main groups of
Tekfen Holding. The Group holds an important position among the
Tekfen group of companies as well as Turkish agriculture.
The Group serves Turkish farmers and agriculture
through its production and service branch companies.
The groups main production is in the field of
chemical agri, and the plants is Ceyhan,Mersin and Samsun constitute
38% of total established capacity in Turkey. The packaging of the
chemical agri is produced in the bagging factory located in Adana.
The energy required for this production is produced on-site at each
factory from their own cogeneration units. At the region's largest
and highest capacity sea terminal located at the facilities in Ceyhan,
we are able to provide loading, unloading and storage services for
all kinds of bulk and liquid products. All ships arriving at these
facilities are provided complete agent services. Toros Agri also
trades in grains and feed raw materials with the help of its extensive
facilities. The largest private free trade zone in Turkey and the
region is also operated by the Group, including office facilities
and infrastructure suitable for all kinds of industrial investments.
Through joint venture with expert foreign corporations,
the Agriindustry Group produces and provides our farmers with quality
crop and vegetable seeds they need. The Group also supplies fully
soluble chemical agri. In addition, greenhouses established in Antalya
in partnership with foreign corporations use specialized production
methods to provide farmers with vegetable seedlings .
The products are distributed to end users through
7 regional offices and close to 800 dealers throughout Turkey, The
activities of the agri industry Group also include operating gas
stations and motels.
Toros Agripark Facilities were acquired in the
first half of 2004, with the aim of research and development and
production of quality, high yield and disease resistant seeds, seedlings
and young plants. The biotechnological agricultural studies conducted
in Toros Agripark concentrate on plant tissue cultures, molecular
breeding, determining gene resources and identification of pests
and diseases.
The Enterprise Resource Management software that
runs this facility provides instantaneous sales, planning, production,
distribution and financing links between the center, the plants
and the regions in a single network. As a result of our high level
of information technology, the Group is in a unique and privileged
position in its sector.
